In-Home Tutoring
In-home tutoring across Michigan, at your kitchen table
A screened, trained tutor comes to you, so learning fits your family’s evening instead of adding one more drive. The same tutor, matched to your student, week after week.
Why in-home
Tutoring that comes to you
No commute after a long day
The tutor comes to you, so a tired student sits down to learn instead of spending the evening in the car.
Learning in a familiar space
Students focus better at their own kitchen table, with their own materials and fewer distractions than a busy center.
Parents stay in the loop
You see the sessions happen and hear how things are going, without adding another stop to your week.
The same tutor every time
One matched tutor who learns your student’s habits and builds real momentum session over session.

What families say
What Michigan families say
"Because of his patient and knowledgeable help, she gained 4 points on the ACT retake and raised her senior math grade. The math scores showed the greatest improvement, which is significant since that was the area where she had the greatest anxiety. The extra 4 points on the ACT helped her get a scholarship."
"My daughter is not a very good test-taker, so we sought the help of College Tutors to help boost her score. It worked! After tutoring, she re-took the ACT, improved her score, and is now enrolled at her #1 pick school. I would highly recommend your service to any parent who wants to help give their child an edge."
Questions
In-home tutoring, answered
Which Michigan areas do you cover for in-home tutoring?
We provide in-home tutoring across Ann Arbor, Dexter, Chelsea, Saline, Canton, Plymouth, Northville, and Novi, plus the surrounding communities near our Dexter, Canton, and Northville offices. If you are close by, just ask and we will confirm coverage.
Is in-home tutoring more expensive than in-center?
Pricing depends on the program and how often your student meets, and the simplest next step is a free call where we build a plan and give you clear pricing for it. Many families find the time saved on driving well worth it.
What does my student need at home for a session?
Just a quiet spot to work, their class materials, and any recent assignments or tests. The tutor brings everything else, including practice materials tailored to your student’s goals.
Can we switch between in-home, in-center, and online?
Yes, and many families do. You might meet in person most weeks and switch to online during a busy stretch or bad weather. We keep the same tutor across formats so nothing skips a beat.
